Wireless Router

hey lads im with upc & have the 30 meg package.

i sometimes have problems with the xbox it can disconnect at times.

i feel its the wireless router thats causing this, the xbox is up satairs and the router is down. (there is a fair distance between the 2)

im looking to get a new router can anyone suggets a decent one be it online or from a shop

Mightn't be your router, just the settings on it.

i can connect to xbox and play no problem but at least once a night it will disconnect, but it does connect straight back after about 30 seconds.

Sierra117 (boards username) had the same problem , i dont know how he got fixed but maybe worth dropping him a pm .

i dont think its possible i had the same problem just bought ethernet over powerline adapters for my xbox. UPC have to know about this problem but they even know that their modem is a piece of crap but its worth it for the speed that you get

I'd advise getting homeplugs to bridge the gap between your existing router and 360.
