My latest video - let me know what you think.
Its a music video for a mate. Classical guitarist and rather good.
It wont win any awards but I think the footage suits the music.

    Also, heres my last offering...

That opening shot is stunning, I like it well done.
You were very lucky with the weather, no lie in that day!

    Nice one mate,
yeah it took 3 mornings to get all the footage needed. About 40 hours work in all after editing etc.

Very nice video. There are some stunning shots in that first two minutes.

Is it your first video ? the only problem i had was that the style/look of the changed a lot when you cut from long dark scenic shots to really bright awkwardly angled close ups. You have to be cruel to be kind ;)

haha great video and keep it up. i do videowork and have 2 youtube channels. check out my music channel, i will have my second music video of a band in my area going up soon.

I know what u mean about the differnece in lighting.it was part of the brief to use the dawn. and we had to shoot 3 mornings with diff light to get all the footage we needed. Good learning from it though.

I have to agree with andyterryjay there was probably too much of a contrast when moving from dark to light and narrative to non-narative. That said I really enjoy a lot of the textures you used and you managed to get some great footage of lights and water which looked stunning. The colours and textures really suited the music, I wasn't too keen on the narrative but that's just a personal preference. Great video, keep up the good work.
