Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today on Pat Kenny's radio show there was a feature on the impact the Irish has had on music in Britain. Great praise seems to be given to the second generation Irish in Britain who have "been proud" of their Irish heritage.
Pity the same degree of respect is not generally accorded to people of British heritage here in Ireland who are proud of their British background, instead of been scoffed at as being West Brits etc etc.

    Good point there Jack.

You see, we Irish always seem to view things from a very insular perspective.

We expect the British to love us and give us jobs and giro and stuff, but when they come over here ,we abuse them and treat them as 'fordinerrrs takin' over ohwerr jhobs'.

It's called 'wanting your bread buttered on both sides'

We love that:D we are very good at it.
