slurry sucked through the vacuum pump

    Lost my concentration this morning and over filled the vacuum tank. Slurry was blown through the pump.
    Worked fine afterwards, but i wonder have I damage done long term?
    What do Ye think?

    let it suck a gallon of diesel when emptying.it should wash it out

    its grand, bit of diesel over the vanes sometime to keep them in good nick

    How long extra was it filling for?
    Probably not..There very simple mechanisms..Let it suck in some diesel and it'll be grand
