Garmin or Timex???

Looking to get a garmin 405cx or a timex global trainer. mainly for triathlons but dont generally wear watches in the swim but just for bike and run so which is the best to go for. the timex looks like a beast of a watch but its cool and the garmin screen looks a bit small for in the bike etc.. but if its on a TT bike the…

Looking to get a garmin 405cx or a timex global trainer. mainly for triathlons but dont generally wear watches in the swim but just for bike and run so which is the best to go for. the timex looks like a beast of a watch but its cool and the garmin screen looks a bit small for in the bike etc.. but if its on a TT bike the timex cant fit on the stem which is a bit gay unlike the 310xt.. dont want the 310xt as its square and looks like a book. also if i buy this from the states from ebay etc what way do you pay ur import duties, before u recieve the watch or after do they send you a bill??
