Don't give up on your vocation because of a few sexist owlfellas. It'd bethe same in ANY field. Where I used to work I was regularly taken to be a secretary because I was a female. And some of the old men weren't embarrassed when I said no actually I'm not a secretary. They'd look really confused. Like I'd just said I'd had a sex change and was standing on my head -just to be bold. Younger people may be initially surprised but they'll wrap their minds around it! my grandparents were farmers and my gm did a whole LOAD of work she never got any credit for! Good for you.
