    When I lived in the usa i used to very easily send quick emails to people which were received on their mobile phone as a text message,

    with the verizon network all you had to do was
    theirNumber@vtext.com

    Does anyone know if u can do that here?

    I'm not sure the of the point, as you can get email on your phone. Besides which if you have email, you probably have access to webtext, or indeed a mobile phone.

    I'm not seeing the problem its solving tbh.

    if the person is on meteor then you can send to number@mms.mymeteor.ie and it will arrive on their phone as a mms.

    it works. not flawless but it works. a friend uses it without issue.
