Footballers that scored more than 6 goals for 2 premiership teams in one season

    Heard this on the radio the other day. Marcus Bent became the 4th premiership player to score more than 6 goals for two seperate teams in the Premiership in the same season namely with Sunderland and Villa. Who are the previous 3 and with what clubs?

    Yes I should have said Darren Bent. Two correct answers

    Andy Cole- Newcastle and Man Utd
    Louis Saha- Fulham and Man Utd

    Did Defoe do it in one of the seasons that he moved from Spurs to Portsmouth and then back again?

    And I think he nearly did it with Liverpool & Spurs as well

    Yes we are only saying Premiership thats why the original question mentions premiership at least twice.

    Going to kick start this by saying that the premier league began in 1992 so think of players from the 1990s

    I'd guess Cantona. I know he scored a few for leeds back in 92/93 in the before he jumped to united.
    Not sure if they were all in the premier league though?

    Correct. Just shows how effective in the midseason transfer market Fergie was that 3 of the 4 signed for Utd.
