Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

better to get a pci or pci-e card esp if its a boot drive. Make sure the card is bootable.

I’m looking at the cheapest way around using an old CD drive in my new pc. I’m now wondering is it cheaper to just buy a newer CD/DVD drive.

@cgarrad Ah no worries I had to google it before I posted to make sure I had them the right way around.

No not on this motherboard, there’s 3 or I think six sata ports, but no ide.

Yes I though when I was looking they would be around 80 or something like that, they are easily under thirty.

@InsightTech Thanks for the link, as im looking now with postage and the part its not going to be a major saving on buying a whole new drive. As I said above I though a decent one would be 60-80 on a guess, gladly im wrong
