Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

XP Mode cannot ping

I've Win7 installed on my computer and have installed XP Mode. I got the browser connecting to the internet via Shared Networking (NAT) and 'Obtain an IP address automatically". This gave me the following ipconfig:

    IP: 192.168.131.66
    SNM: 255.255.255.0
    DG: 192.168.131.254

As I said, I can use the browser in XP Mode to surf the net etc.
The problem arose when I was trying to install some s/w in XP Mode. The .exe required to d/l some files from the net, but wasn't able to and the install failed. At this point, I tried to ping Google, but the request timed out.

I done some searching on Google and turned off Windows Firewall on the XP Mode, statically assigned the IP to match my hosts (Win7) IP ->

    IP: 192.168.1.99
    SNM: 255.255.255.0
    DG: 192.168.1.254

and changed the network settings on the XP Mode VM to the network card of my host.

None of these worked and I couldn't even connect with the browser when I tried these steps, let alone ping Google.

    Any Help? Ideas?

    Thanks
