    The easton has a 43mm offset according to this website:

    So you'd be gaining a whopping 2mm. Could help in a photo finish.

    You would also gain 2mm in the distance between the wheels so have a bike that is not as stiff and (therefore) not as fast. Compare centre to centre wheel distances between a racing and a touring bike and you'll see what I mean.

    I know, it's all nonsense really. 2mm, I mean, really!

    Any change of rake or camber of the fork will alter its trail and therefore handling but you may not notice too much if the difference is only slight,what kind of bike is it? You could always go with shorter cranks,theres alot of debate whether this affects your riding but personally I dont think it does,most people dont even realise what lenght their cranks are when they buy a bike!:eek:

    Toe overlap should not be a problem, I have it on many of my bikes (including fixed gears.) It is really common. You will get used to it. It only affects really sharp turns at really slow speeds... on a fixie (on any other bike you can just move the pedal in question.)
