    Hi,
I'm currently in 4th year, doing a careers project for school. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to answer a few questions that I could submit for my interview. You don't have to leave your name or anything like that, I just need to interview a teacher. These are the questions, so feel free to reply! I don't need extremely long answers but if you want to leave that kind of answer, I don't mind!:)

    1. Why did you decide to be a teacher?

    2. What subjects did you enjoy most at school?

    3. what college did you study in? Was there a reason for this choice?

4.what personal qualities are important for this job? (such as being confident, patient or outgoing)

5.What employment prospects are there at the moment?

    6. would you like to go back to college in the future to do further studies? (a masters for example) If so, which college would you prefer to do this course in?

    Thanks to anyone who answers!
    :)

    1. Tried subbing while waiting on a postgrad course. Liked it so much I went back and did the H-Dip instead
    2.Maths, History and French
3.Maynooth for Degree and Trinity for HDip. Wanted Galway didn't get the points but loved Maynooth. Same for Trinity.
4.Patience, Good Preparation, the ability to turn a blind eye or close an ear every so often:P
5.At the moment very bleak for Newly qualified teachers. Just read the threads here.
    6. Have already gone back and completed a Masters in Education in Trinity

Good luck with the project. Good idea using boards;)
