Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Transformer / charger..

    hi

    My transformer / charger is kaput in my 2000 fiat ducato grand duca.

    Its a Nordelettronica 150VA & used with a TE17-ME control panel.



    Does anyone have a clue where I can get one?!!

    thermal fuse in the transformer is probably dead sometimesnthey are easy enough to access and change. for a replacement transformer you can look at farnell.com/ie or radionics.ie but its probably cheaper to buy a big lump of a charger and gut the transformer from it.

    we use a simple charger unit , with "intelligent" charging for batteries , think they're less than 100 euro . small , neat , and reliable.

    does that charger offer a 12v supply to the rest of the camper?

    Thanks for the info on the thermal fuse - I'll have a look, I might drop the unit into atlantic rewinds in galway & see if they can fix it.

    well , its just a 12v charger , so technically yes , but in reality all any charger does is keep the battery topped up , the battery supplies the rest of the camper.
