Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Adobe PhotoShop not working since I installed Adobe InDesign

    Hi all,

I'm a student working on my thesis at the minute and there's quite a lot of arrangement of digital graphics involved.

I have had Adobe CS5 PhotoShop on my laptop (Windows 7 64-bit) since January and it has always worked for me. I installed Adobe CS5 InDesign earlier this week and since then PS hasn't been working for me, it starts up, loads the pallets and crashes within about 5 seconds.

I can't understand it because the two are independently installed and in isolated program files. The laptop has 4gb RAM so memory is not an issue, I often run half a dozen programs and it never gives out. Anyone any insight?

I was hoping there would be an easier solution, a patch or a driver, but I will give uninstall/reinstall a go tomorrow. My work with InDesign is done now - the hand-in is tomorrow - so I might uninstall all Adobe products and just reinstall PS and see how that goes. I still need PS for my college work but ID was only necessary for a week while I was laying out the report. I panicked when ID started messing with PS.

Further update: I uninstalled Adobe InDesign last night and within minutes I had PhotoShop back. There was no need to uninstall and reinstall PS, something within ID must have incapacitated PS on startup.

    Good to hear it's sorted
