    My advice would be to keep clear of Philips,there BR players are not the best for reliability,just Google same and you will see what I mean.
    Better off looking at the likes of Sony or Panasonic or the like.
    Most of these BR players have the same picture quality,what you will be paying extra for really is the extras these players bring.
    Purchased mine at Amazon a few months back and the difference in price between the B/M shops and Amazon at the time was over €180.00:eek:
    So do take your time and shop around,you will be amazed at the price difference out there.
