Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The PAL N64 doesn't support RGB scart :(

Oh, are you just looking for a cable that will go into a scart socket? The N64 does composite video (the one with the three cables that go into a scart adapter). The picture quality is still pretty bad, it's 'fake' scart, but it's a small step up from rf/arial signal.

If you don't want to mod, look into getting an S-video cable.

Only works for NTSC N64 consoles I believe.

    Got this off Wikipedia:

Available to buy separately was a RF modulator and switch set (for connection to older TVs) and an official S-Video cable, although the latter was only sold at retail stores in Japan. In the US the official S-Video cable could only be ordered direct from Nintendo of America, and the cable was not officially sold in Europe. In the United Kingdom the N64 was shipped with a RF modulator and switch set, but was still fully compatible with the other cables.

Hmm.... interesting. I'll be picking up an s-video cable for my NTSC N64 soon so will test this out. If I find out that it's compatible with the PAL N64 I'll be kicking myself that I've been playing in AV for so long.

I once waited 8 months for an 8Gb micro-SD card.

By the time it arrived, I'd forgotten why I bought it
