It starts at half 10 (apparently that's the departure for Westminster Abbey and you can't miss that midget, THE DRESS) on RTE, be there or be square brap brap

It's such a fairytale. Like, they just met at university, became friends and it all blossomed from there.....

Until this week I hadn't a clue who Kate Middleton was. I love my rock.

Someone showed me this earlier, it's kinda amusing. http://www.broadsheet.ie/2011/04/28/no-diddly-eye-music-at-the-royal-wedding/

So what channel's everyone gonna watch it on?

I'm picking ITV because BBC's seems like a fairly boring line up..

I hear they'll make gatecrashers sit through a stranger's wedding as punishment.

Is Enda Kenny invited? (serious question)

    Nope!

Since Will (look at me being all informal!) isn't 1st in line to the throne, it isn't seen as a state affair type of thing. So no need to invite world leaders like Obama or anything.

Well that's what I'm aware of anyways.

They have to invite anyone who has the title King/Queen but that's all. No need to invite and presidents and shizz..

Omg I'm only after noticing this thread. Sorry, I'm after mentioning it in yaaaahhh by accident, my bad. But aaaah, SO EXCITED. And a week ago I was like 'meh, why should we care, 700 years etc.' but it's all changed. <3 I've decided I'm not going to sleep, gonna rise at half six and watch the movie and then watch TV3's fun-filled coverage of it right up until Midday (I'm sorry but I generally cannot stand midday, and despite everything I don't see why they need ninety minutes to discuss a wedding) and then be very very happy. Life is good.

    I never thought I was this sad...really, I didn't. Oh well.

That's the same as a normal person inviting their cousins, though. :P

I've always had an unhealthy interest in the royal family. Not so much the current lot, but their ancestors fascinate me.

Irish media can't shut up about this bloody wedding! Can't escape it! Bunch of anglophiles

Looks like a United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland again as the (re-)United Ireland is finally achieved

The only positive aspect out of this gross display of elitism and arselicking of British societies original and biggest sponges is the funny facebook like pages.
