Buying Salmon Fillets

Excluding wild salmon, what's the best option when buying salmon fillets. Is there much difference taste wise between farmed fillets from fishmongers/fish counter and supermarket pre-packed? Some of the supermarkets have frozen "wild Alaskan fillets" - how do they compare? Thanks.
