Her dress is just spectacular, she really is beautiful! I've got tears in my eyes, and shivers going through me, what an amazingly beautiful bride she is. And she looks so happy & excited, looking forward to married life.

Anybody else kind of hoping she trips? I feel bad but I can't help it :p

    Kate looks beautiful.

I'm not too keen on her dress though, Pippa's dress is far nicer, imo.

Pippa's dress is nice but it's not special enough for a Royal wedding IMO. Kate's is appropriately amazing given the occasion!

Top half of the dress is great the rest does her no favours. Her sister looks much better but why is she in white?

Did Harry just say to Wills that the dress is gorgeous??

Awhhh, Wills just told her she was beautiful

Can be argued that she did. Right at the very beginning of this story.

Hee hee wonder what Harry said to William there :D

Yeah I love the top half of the dress, if it was a calf length flared 50's style skirt it'd be perfect! :)

William was so cute muttering at her :)

Wasn't going to watch but I'm all emotional now:o She looks stunning.

Go back to AH, this is about the fashion, not what you personally think of the Royal family.

strangely, its sort of what i had in mind when I thought what she might wear. I think the bridesmaid's dress is ok (she can pull it off with her body) but its almost like its trying too hard to not distract from the bride.

+1 It's 'the fan thread' in Fashion & Appearance, what on earth do you expect?

Both dresses are gorgeous - Pippa looks stunning. Kate is so so elegant

The shape of the train from the back looks like a pop up tent.

Just ignore him guys, he'll get bored and go away.

    Right, ceremony now. Yawn.

Not so gone on the full skirt, she is too tall and too thin for it. She looks gorgeous tho. Which tiara is that? It is the one that Diana wore with 'that dress'??

forgot about all the churchy stuff myself... time to put the kettle on!

Kind of bored now, loved all the anticipation earlier!

Would love to see the party later, someone said (Philip Schofield) that they have a niteclub set up for tonight :D

Down as far as the waist I love it. I don't like the skirt, would have loved to have seen a more fitted bottom to the dress personally.

The top half is sublime and her makeup is just spot on.

Wow religious man's voice is awesome! Clearly I stopped paying attention to the names :p

Apparently she did her own make up

I think I remember someone saying that the bride had to wear a full skirt to sort of 'fill' the Cathedral, if that makes sense.

If I ever get married I'd love the top half with a calf length 50's style skirt, as Spadina says! Probably a bit informal for the Royal do though :D

Yeah, a totally fitted dress would look small and unimpressive in the sweeping shots inside that place.

yeah is that not why it's called a "cathedral style" train? I always assumed that....
    yaay the vows!

Wouldn't it be cool if it were a buck's fizz style tear-away skirt? :D

Kate looks absolutely beautiful very similar to Grace Kelly's wedding dress.

Oh my God could you imagine if the Bishop just went "A one two three four!" and the bridal party started a dance number!

I always forget that the vows happen early on :) not been to many weddings. Guess that's why non-churchy ones are over kinda quick!

Why are both RTE and TV3 showing the wedding of one of the worlds mosted F**ked up families. People complain about the stuff that Philip comes out with. Anyone that looked into the history of the whole family will know that the other side is no better especially the Bowel-Lyon side of it. How much are they paying to show it. Surely the money could be spend better elsewhere, not with the usual crap they show.
