    Hello,

I have used the search function but have not come to a satisfactory conclusion.

I am looking for a Hillwalking/Mountaineering Group in Dublin, one that is not primarily stocked with people in their sixties and one with a decent social element.

    Does such a group exist?

    Thanks

I think 'An Oige' have a youngish group. They meet on Sundays at about 9;30 at Burgh Quay. You dont need to be a member beforehand....just turn up with your 12 euro for the minibus.

Im with Glenwalk, which has a large contingent of people in their 30's but you can only go if youre a paid member, and membership is only open in November due to their numbers.

November is an odd time to open for membership!

I think this club would suit, http://www.hfwalkingclub.com. They have regular walks on Sat, Sun & Wed, a good website and very they're a very social group. I think the age profile seems to be 50 to dont ask!
