Nice, very nice. Looking forward to seeing Waltz and DiCaprio in this.

Is this out in January here?

Wow this is going to be epic. Christoph Waltz's character looks class.

Cool pics, I like violent westerns, something raw about them.

The original Django from 1966 is a pretty decent film. Saw it over the weekend.

Ye Hypocrites, are these your pranks
To murder men and gie God thanks?
Desist for shame, proceed no further
God won't accept your thanks for murder.

Yeah I'm all excited now after that teaser! Has anyone seen the full trailer in cinemas yet? Meant to be shown before Prometheus.

The trailer was on YouTube for a few minutes but got pulled apparently. Slash Film say it will be online later tonight but that may be US time so don't wait up...

Looks like that link has been taken down.

You can watch it here http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/watch-first-trailer-for-quentin-tarantinos-django-unchained-is-here-20120606

I'm unimpressed by Jamie Fox, which is a shame because I was sure he'd be the one to shine judging by the script.

Looks fantastic. Love all the quick zooms, old fashioned

I wish people would stop giving QT more than $10m to make a film...

Lengthy enough trailer, love that blood spraying the flowers at 1:55.

Cool characters, sharp snappy dialogue and violence is all i'm looking for. Seems to deliver.

Wow, it's practically a shopping list of Tarantino's motifs; I suppose whether that's a good or bad thing depends on what you make of the director in general (though I will admit though I'm a sucker for those old-school fast zooms he does). Not a fan myself, and don't think he has made a good movie in a while now.

I'd love to see him finally getting an Oscar but I've a feeling the Academy are waiting until he's in his 70's & will give him one then haha!

I know mentally handicapped characters are considered Oscar bait, but I still think What's Eating Gilbert Grape is DiCaprio's best performance.

I'd be a lot more enthusiastic about this movie if Jamie Foxx wasn't playing the lead role. I think he's one of the worst high paid actors around. The Oscars are a joke imo.

I read somewhere (don't know if it's true though), that Will Smith turned down the offer of the lead to do MIB3 instead, now that would have been brilliant. Though I do like Foxx.

I think I read that Quentin Tarantino wanted Will Smith for the role but he declined also Idris Elba also auditioned for Jamie Foxx's role

Would've liked to have seen Elba in this. He deserves a starring role

I don't usually judge a film by its trailer but I sure hope that God-awful music isn't used in the film itself.

How is he going to put in the shot he always uses of someone opening a car boot from the perspective of inside when cars haven't been invented yet?! :pac:

    (Stagecoach boot maybe?)

Spike Lee is unimpressed by that trailer.

As for me, I think it looks like fun but putting the James Brown music over it plus all the gun play and little quips makes the film look like an action-comedy which I don't think Tarantino is going for. I hope he's not anyway because when I think modern Western action-comedy about a former slave teaming up with a white sophisticate for a bit of a caper I think

Yeah, I really hope that trailer is a misrepresentation of the tone of the actual film.
