Then and now photos of Irish history

30-04-2011 3:10pm#1Leading from a similar idea http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056251123 for then & now photos/ images of WWII there was a suggestion (Morlar) to do the same for Irish history. I think given that the merged photos of WWII era are unlikely to be as easily sourced for Irish events that it should include any significant Irish events be they the 1916 rising, war of independence, royal visit, local celebrations/ tradgedies, etc. I post some below -not exact same views but similar.
