Damn, I wish I hit the ltnt. 7-7 after 20. Unfortunately I see them racking up a good score before the end.

Edit: 10-17 up at half time. Hopefully the lads can complete what will be daylight robbery by how the half went (an intercept try 1 minute in and a try from a turnover while they were comfortably on the front foot) Stupid match engine getting my hopes up before a fall and distracting me from getting work done

Got a 54-7 win against the team in 4th(now 5th). Happy enough, as he beats me around the field CSR wise.

Ok, so my result was 41 - 20 in my favour.

He LTNT'd and I just had my yoke on my default normal.

Is anybody else noticing the new match engine tweaks reeeeeally taking into account tactics a lot more now? Fingal Bears are the most comparable team in my league to my own, yet they TNT'd and got well beaten, yet Rahoon Wild, who I have a hefty CSR advantage on, were able to go toe-to-toe albeit against a slightly weaker team selection. Seems using a team's CSR as a predictor is worth less and less these days. Certainly when I get the time I have to go back to the tactics drawing board, but, is it just me or have tactics somewhat overtaken team selection in terms of importance?

Completely agree, if you can expose the opponent tactically, you stand a much better chance of winning than relying solely on CSR.

Can't say I have noticed. But it would make sense, Jeremy is always bashing on about reducing the newbie gap. Increasing the power of tactics would be a good way of doing that.

Oh, and all worked for me today. went WNWIM, got BP win. Team I am playing next week went LTNT. All his high CSR players are now weary/tired, puts me in a good position next week. Actually, are Greystones RFC a boards team?

God blasted TMO's. They really hate me lately especially in tights games. Thats the third time recently when they have either disallowed my try or awarded the opponents one. Not happy cause only lost by 2 stinking points.

Wasnt helped either by having 2 thirds of my front row go off in first 11 mins leaving me with no scrum or attacking lineout for the rest of the game. I should have won that one. Bah.

I'm hoping to only lose one more game this season, against Mauling Bear. But sure, i'll see how i do on the weekend, you've been getting a helluva lot better!

Mauling bear are a serious team. I had them last year.

They are well above the auto promote, so he'll be hopefully gone by next season!

Bah!!!! Lost 17-19 to openside, I thought I might of had him :mad:17 penalties against might be the end of me playing normal agression. Has that pressure giving away penalties thing been introduced to league games or just friendlies? I seem to be giving away a lot more penalties this season.
