Howdy all, I have a Cowon X5 which until recently was amazing, couldn't recomend the brand highly enough, the software is brilliant and the machine itself is really easy to use. However after 6 years the little thing has given up the ghost, it won't turn on, and it won't charge. :(

Could anyone recommend a good repair shop in the city centre please?

    Merci.

You'll be lucky to find anywhere that will do it.
There's fonemenders in the GPO arcade(Dublin) might help.

What happened to it before it gave up the ghost ? Was your battery going ?
How long did you get out of a charge ? these are old players and as such most people won't repair them, maybe a bit of DIY ? google around a bit. maybe try a new battery, it does need to be soldered on tho!
