Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Does your laptop support the old PS/2 mouse connection, look like a headphone jack coloured green or purple as far as I remember ?.

    Does the touchpad not work on your laptop ?.

    You can use a serial port mouse, or a ps2 mouse, buy a usb to ps2 convertor ,cost 3 euro, plug it into the ps2 port,you could use a pcmia usb card if you have a pcmia slot.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS/2_connector

    pcmia card is 25 euros approx.
    a virus may have deleted or damaged the files that connect usb ports to the
    operating system ,eg windows xp files.
    use the present mouse with the ps2 convertor.is that a laptop you have.
