Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

    I have two questions.

    1. I would like to upgrade my current XP 64 bit system to Windows 7.
I have two machines one for Modeling and rendering and the other a render core.

Do I also need to purchase a seperate licence for that machine?
Also where would you recomend I purchase it?

    2. I would like to purchase another Windows 7 OS for a computer in Italy.
It will be run in Italian I am sure.

Can this be purchased here and sent across as I know they are all localised ?

    Thank you

    Phil

1 - You have to purchase separate licenses.

2 - You can buy it here, and change the language during installation.

Heres a comparison of all the versions of Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/products/compare

Most online retailers sell them for in or around the same price.
Personally, I use Komplett when it comes to buying techy stuff, but there is other alternatives.

    http://komplett.ie/Komplett/catalog/ZKB_01COM/22_SOFTWAR/02_OS/default.aspx

Note, software labelled "OEM" means that there is no support; its designed for system builders. On the upside, its a bit cheaper than buying the full retail version.
