walking distance from start of kylemore road in chapelizod to walkinstown roundabout

hi does anybody know the distance from the start of the kylemore road up to the walkinstown roundabout and could you walk that distance and how long would it take?also does anyone know a bus route for this distance?

The 18 might help? It goes from Palmerstown to Cherry Orchard to the Kylemore Road past the industrial estate..I never got it past there but it goes through Crumlin village and onto Ballsbridge or somewhere similar so it should help.

I am not sure exactly where the roundabout is but I will tell you when I worked in Kylemore industrial estate one summer I used to get off the 66 at your starting point and walk up to it..past the college, the schools, around the roundabout and up the long road to the estate. It's very long up to that point, took half an hour. That was before I discovered the 18. Hope that helps.

The stages mentions Walkinstown Avenue..

The 26 might help too, it goes out from town through Chapelizod, Ballyfermot, Cherry Orchard and the graveyard at Palmerstown. Somewhat close to where you're going and if not it intersects with the 18. All 66's, 67s and 25s will bring you to Palmerstown to pick up the 18 there (not at the same stop, outside the shop around the corner)

I'd say its about a 45-50 minute walk, not that far really.

The 18 bus would cover the middle section of it from ballyfermot roundabout to longmile junction - thats about half of the journey

google reckons it's 52 minutes

and the 18 covers this
