Cycling Backpack

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what type of backpack to get thats good for use on a bike for a long enough commute that wouldnt really make ones back too sweaty. It would need to be big enough to carry towel, shoes and a change of clothes. I've seen the deteur selection and they seem pretty good anybody have experience with them? Also ive a price limit of around €50.

The deuters that have the meshy bit to keep it off your back are probably the best, unless you fancy using panniers

The Deuter is the best alright, the Furtura 28 or 32 would suit pretty good, but they will cost a bit more then €50 im afraid.

I have used a Deuter Speed Lite. 15L.
Small. But I have fit in a small towel, shoes and a jeans & shirt.
It won't take much more.
As comfortable as a rucksack gets. I have done some 50-60km cycles after work with it On.

Also have a nice Gelert which was really cheap. A little bit more bulky than the Deuter.

I also recommend the Deuter - best backpack I've ever bought. I have the 10L and fit clothes & lunch (No shoes & towel), so the 15L should satisfy your needs.

Like Blorg said, get a rack and bag, one for audax would do you fine, say 7 litre top peak and seat post rack.

Plenty of positive reviews on the site.

It doesn't have the mesh bit which reduces sweatiness that other deuter bags have.
