You don't have to be 18 to work in a pub, think that's just for pulling pints. Can still do glasses and all.

Yes but that job is for an off licence :(

Unfortunatly the champion only had two or three positions advertised last week.

I did notice the Vodafone Shop in the Johnsons Courst advertising today, also have you tried the fas website.

Yeah, its a bloody disgrace, Not a job going in this town, and any that you do apply for, they haven't got the good graces to even acknowledge you're application.

Have you found any work since Stewie?

Still looking. The number of applications totally out weigh the acknowledgments/responces received.

Unfortunatly the lack of communication does not just apply to Sligo employers.

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that was hiring in town?
I know there is next to none but any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

Jobs in Sligo are like hens teeth at the moment. I know the Garavogue were hiring recently, might be worth handing in a cv there.

I'd check the FAS website, The Champion and the usual www.jobrapido.ie, http://www.connaughtjobs.ie/ etc. and keep an eye out for notices on windows.

Lads might do to drop a CV into Centra Maugheraboy.
Plenty of students working there and they'll be going back in September, might get lucky.

Des? Seriously? That's not the experience I have with him. He kisses customer ass, which is fine, but he's a knob. I was delivering to him once and he got verbally abusive because I brought the lorry into his car park.

Most delivery drivers have fallen out with him.

Places like Argos and Smiths toystore etc. would be worth trying especially for the Christmas rush, aside from that just bung your cv into as many shops and stores as possible and hope for the best.
