Stag in Alicante

Hey Guys, Anyone ever go to Alicante on stag or lads holiday. Where would the best area to go for bars, nightclubs, etc. I am trying to book a hotel but want to try keep it walking distance to beach and nightlife area of possible Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Ace

I've been to Alicante but not on a stags. Its not a bad city but just north is Valencia which is much nicer.
