Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I rented out my house last year - The tenants just transfered their own account to this address. They have now moved out and their ESB account has been changed to their new address.

New tenants are moving in this week - how to i get their name on the account now..Am I correct in assuming that my name is currently on the account or how would I check.

    Hi TheWaterboy,

If you like I can check for you. The only way the account would now be in your own name is if:

1 - The tenants transferred it from their name to yours, or
2 - There is a landlord agreement in place at the property.

The latter is something that we would recommend you set up - if you like, I can do this for you. Basically what it would mean is that anytime the property is considered 'vacant' on system (i.e. when there is no customer registered to it), the account would then default back to your own name.

This eliminates any risk of disconnection, and if you have a number of properties should help put your mind (a little more) at ease. :) Just to note (as we get asked this quite often), this won't make you liable for any amounts owed by tenants. You only pay for what is used while the account is in your own name.

PM me if you need any help.

    Thanks,

    David.
