Apartment/houses for couples in Limerick

For a couple looking for a decent place to rent in and around Limerick, where are the best places?
Places like daft seem to have a few places in and around Mount Kenneth place but there seems to be misgiving about that place?
Where are the better places to rent at a decent price in terms of safety and not being ripped off?
Advice and suggestions very much welcome

The Strand in O'Callaghan Strand always gets good reviews.

There's a link to one. Im dubious about the price. Surely in this "market" they can do better than €700 for a 1 bedroom.

However, a little down the street you can get a 2 bed in Landsdowne Hall for €750

Why not get a house in suburbia? Bigger and better value.
