Scoil Mhuire in Trim are holding a Summer Bedding Plant and Car Boot sale in the school carpark on Sunday 15th May. As far as I know people were very happy with the quality and range of plants in previous years.

Also, you could try Frank Dalton on the Dublin road just beyond Scurlogstown, he does a fine range and is a very decent person to deal with. His no. is 085-1541542

Do hanging baskets last the whole summer? or do the plants die every month or so?
Does one need to water them regularly or does our intermittent rain do the trick?

Depending on what plants were put into the basket it can last till the first of frosts or well into Autumn...Some plants will have a short life span, ask at your local Garden Centre and or Try in the Gardening Forum on this site to identify your plants and ask for further advice...

Water the baskets at least twice a week, once with a weak liquid tomato feed for the best growth and flowering ..our rain fall rarely fullfills the watering needs of baskets and Pot's
