But I need some help from anyone I would be grateful.

Can you please post the following.

Are you a 3pay, flexfix/BoB, Flex/Billpay, 3pay Broadband, Postpay Broadband customer and the following Web address's:
    -Check my usage/Balance
    -Buy Add On

So it would look like this

    Thanks in advance.

AFAIK those links will only work if you're actually using their network.

Its actually user specific thats why I need the website URL's as apposed to the mobile URL's

Why bother when there already is My3 to track usage?

What customer support will you have

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,026 ✭✭✭Amalgam

angel01, a 1 pane task\app.. not just about the raw information, but the handiness and promptness of accessing it.

That's the definition of a valid app.

The screen will randomly tell you to reset your modem\phone or clean your SIM. ;)

    lol.
For now the support features are Store Locator, & also FAQ on your product

My3 is handy and prompt, if I need customer care I'll call 1913 and I already know where my local 3 stores are

Well thats good for you but i'm sure some people wont know where the nearest store is from time to time. Nor does everyone know how to check their usage with 3.

You say my3 is quick and prompt when you know where to go.
Launch your browser, wait for the page to load.
select my3, wait for the page to load.
Select check my usage & wait for the page to load.

    OR

    Launch app,
Select check my usage & page loads

    Or launch bookmark....easy!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 599 ✭✭✭mooneyd

And if they dont know how to get there in the first place how will they get to the pages to save them as bookmarks or will you be offering that service to people?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,794 ✭✭✭cookie1977

I think the my3 bookmark is embedded on every sim and cant be deleted. I stand to be corrected though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 599 ✭✭✭mooneyd

its on 3's handsets but if you use a sim free handset its not

I've a blackberry 9700 from O2 and when I moved to three the bookmark was on it. Via the three sim I presume.

it doesnt actually, (knew it wouldnt work, but just did it there now to be satisfied) it gives "invalid server error"!

irish chris i couldnt see this working over wifi unless it prompted for a username and password. the identifier string needs the correct server to pass the info to in order to retreive your info, if you connnect over wifi, the server rejects the incorrect connection as it doesnt have the correct credentials.
