Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD problem

My MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) training dvd will not work. A notepad message in HTML appears "License agreement required to use this product". And that is the end of the matter. On a friend's pc it works fine. The license agreement appears in normal language to which you can say "I agree" and you're off and away. Vendor of no help, says there is nothing wrong with the dvd, it's my dvd drive that's at fault. But I have no problems with other cds on this drive.

    Check:
Control Panel - Folder options - File types - scroll down to HTML

Opens with browser (Firefox, IE, Chrome etc)? if not, the click Change... button net to it and choose a browser.

Now every HTML document should work within browser, not notepad.
Further, you ll be able to accept terms and agreement and startup your DVD.

Freestyla, you have made my day!
After weeks going down blind alleys and getting such advice as your pc is too old (8 years), you need new drivers, you need a new display adaptor, upgrade your dvd drive, get a new media player, your antivirus is blocking access, get a new laptop etc etc, you have finally solved the problem for me painlessly and effortlessly.
Freestyla, many thanks and best wishes.
