Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do you think its bad?

I did a quick google and it seems to be some sort of operator ie the address of this text box im typing in has "newreply.php?do"

    Nothing to be alarmed about...

If you genuinley feel you do have a virus get yourself a copy of Microsoft Security Essentials (if you use windows that is):

    http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/mse.aspx

Update and do a full scan.

Is this on Facebook itself? Can you link an example?

#! (called a shebang or hashbang) is a valid character in a URL. Its getting a little more attention now as certain sites (like Gawker sites as a recent high profile example) start doing a lot of layout and function on the browser side rather than on the server side.
