eircom Outage Update

"Service has been fully restored to all customers affected by yesterday’s technical fault in the South East of the country. The fault had been isolated to our parent exchange in Waterford. As a result of the fault up to 22,000 customers in Wicklow, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wexford and Offaly suffered disruption to their broadband services.

Local repair teams worked through the night to fix the fault. 14,000 customers had service restored at 8.00pm last night. The remaining 8,000 customers had service restored early this morning.

eircom apologies to affected customers for any inconvenience caused."
