Cherry spirits

    Hi,

The last time I was in Poland, the girlfriend showed me an interesting drink made of fermented cherries - I believe it to be a type of vodka.
It was sold in a bottle with whole cherries in the bottom and was a deep red colour (not dissimilar to a red wine, though more translucent)

Does anyone know where I could find such a thing in Dublin?
I've tried a few Polish shops, but few of them sell that much alcohol.

    Thanks

I don't think it's a type of vodka, as far as i know, it's got it's own name, kirsch, or something along those lines.

You should try the Cherry Brandy from Marks and Spencers. It's amazing!
