    Pity Galway missed out again though :(

    As always :mad::(:mad::(

    I watched in despair as it passed overhead just as it was starting to build, took some pictures, at this stage I'm sure the neighbours think I'm spying.

    There was lots of thunder here again, just to the south of me, out of the rain but it has started to rain a few minutes ago.

    I watched in despair as it passed overhead just as it was starting to build,

    A lot of showers to the north of me all day but one sprung up very suddenly just over town (Tomb) during the evening and dumped 4.6mm in a short space of time. What amazed me though was how rapidly the shower developed as 15 mins before the downpour arrived there was no sign of it at all.

    Took these at half 8 after the main showers passed over...

    Minor defined Mammatus clouds :) .... Anyone else see them? :)

    I have only heard one clap of thunder in Ireland this year, seriously lost hope at this stage, I'm packing it in, see ya in November lads!

    Unless of course a real chance of a storm pops up ;)

    I saw something like mammatus clouds alright in Dublin 13 around 8.30 or 9, but nothing as defined as that and not as many depressions in the cloud. Did you enhance the photo to get a better look?

    A little bit of action off the south coast.
    http://andvari.vedur.is/athuganir/eldingar/i_dag_na.html
    Cork(sunbabe are you watching?) or Waterford could get some action from the look of the movement on http://www.sat24.com
    :(
