Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ten speed chainsets work fine with 11 speed. So the way I'd see it pretty much all PMs would work with it it.

Getting el tonto's quote from the PM thread to ask about campa 10/11.

I thought the 11speed chains were much narrower and they couldn't work with the existing 10speed components.

So if you have a 10speed groupset and you change, rear deraileur, cassette chain and shifters to 11 all will work together fine? I assume there is no need to upgrade the front deraileur!

I think you may need to change jockey wheels as well. There is a place in the UK that will change the ractchet in the shifters to make it 11sp. I think your standard 10sp RD will work.

I've never tried it, but a guy on this thread said it works, but not the other way around:
I use a 10v FD with my 11v chain and crank and it performs perfectly. Yes, I had the cable anchored correctly on the 11v FD.

Since the front mech is one of the cheaper parts of a group, personally I'd just get an 11 speed one.

With one bike running 10spd and the other 11 I'm def going to have to give that a look see - you wouldn't happen to have the details of this shop handy?

Found this today in the Campa FAQ:
    13. Is the Record Ultra Torque 10s crankset compatible with an 11s groupset?
As is, it is not compatible, but it can be reused provided that you replace both gears and fit those designed for the 11s drivetrain.

So does it mean that you have to change the rings to 11s compatible?

It means that, but it is a lie.
