C64 beach volleyball game

Does anyone remember the title of this C64 beach volleyball game? It was a later, near end of the machine's life title. I recall a demo I think was included with Commodore Format or one of the other mags Zzapp, Commodore Power or Commodore Force I forget. I recall the graphics were amazing and the gameplay being rather good too.

Any ideas?

Alas no. Wasn't Kings Of The Beach either.

I remember the demo on the magazine tape let you play first to 21 then it ended. I'd love to play the full game but it's wrecking my head as to what it was called.

Nope.

It was definitely a distinctive look it had. Obviously it looks rubbish now but at the time it was brilliant and the controls and gameplay were amazing.

Best 8 bit volleyball game I ever played. How's that for a tagline?!

I remember the one you're talking about, think it (or a demo) was free with Commodore Force or something like that...can't for the life of me remember the name of it

Hmm, they didn't have that many volleyball games on C64 I don't think.

I am not alone! HURRAH!

I went through all the Commodore Format Power Packs, it's not on there. It would have been Commodore Force, Commodore Power or Zzap then. Can't find a listing of tapes though for them. Argh!

Maybe have a look through the magazine covers. If it was a demo on Zzap64 it might mention it on the mag cover.

FOUND IT!

It was called Over The Net. Awesome game, even found a video of it on YouTube.

You can even tell from the video that the physics for this game were bloody good. The video states 1990 but it's actually 1991.
