Disgusted with the ref again today giving two penaltys when Dawson was te one fouled and then the guy that breaks leg scores the second one when the player goes down like a sack of potatoes not giving obvious frees as well agh just pissed off.

    Absolutely

To win the leave you need a collective , like the Borg in star trek :-)

Vdv is too much of an individualist , that's why Jose got rid

    Too little, too late!
On that performance we don't deserve to be in the CL.
Pav, Defoe, Crouch... I think Defoe's goal was the only shot between them....

Defoe had a desperate season as well, only for VDV they wouldnt have made the top 10.

Couldn't agree more. Gutted. Got all the big decisions wrong today and it cost us. I know we wern't great, but to lose over things like that is just sickening. sigh

Vdv had disrupted the flow of play . U don't go from banging in goals Like last season to not being able to score the season after. Defoe is the only natural goal scorer and striker that we have

Was expecting to come home to see 3 or 4 for us today. Was just in the Mestalla where a mediocre Valencia team put 3 past Real Sociedad. Caught the last 2 minutes of injury time and I'm shocked. Was so delighted on my way home after hearing that City had lost too! Bloody typical.

I think we should get rid of Harry now. Since we got a lesson off Real Madrid Harry focus is gone and all he is thinking about is the England job. Looks like we're not going to be in the Champs League next year so lets give the spoofer the boot now.

Well done Blackpool they deserved a draw. Rose had a solid game considering he hasn't had any game time. We were poor from the first whistle, Defoe's goal was good, can't think of anything else positive to say. Time to get ****faced and a drunken ride in.

I think Harry needs to realize that getting the right back to lump the ball up to crouch doesnt work. All you get is crouch falling over.

Are you for real ? Without Harry you's would be prob in the championship , do you not remember where you's where when he took over ?

Rubbish of the highest order. Harry can attract top players without champs league. At Pompey he got diarra, crouch , Defoe etc and had fek all to offer them . Small stadium , no chance of success etc

    Bales leg :(

Championship my arse!! He only motivated a talented and over stocked squad. Think of what Fergie or Wenger would do with those players at their disposal. 1st or 2nd easily. Spoofer always has been and always will be. Look at VdV, people say this was a 'Arry masterstroke, B*llicks!!! Daniel handed VdV to him on a plate after Liverpool and Utd turned him down.

Mickman your post is a loads of rubbish. Harry even said last wk that yes Spurs can attract the top players but ONLY if they pay the TOP wages!!! All those players went to Pompey for the wages only.

'Arry Wheeler Dealer Spoofer Redknapp: next English manager.....more under achieving ahead for the 3 lions so!!!!:)

Keyser, man that's gross. That's some nasty tackle by Adams. Ironic, the player that breaks Bale's leg also scores the penalty when not only should he have been sent off, but banned for a few games.

Doesn't take away from our inability to beat the lower placed teams again, but ouch, what a tackle.

Have to agree with Dave its time to get rid of Harry the amount of rubbish he comes out with is ridiculous one minute hes saying we can win the league next hes saying we are over achieving and cant expect top 4.

Before the game today he was waffling about our CL run and hows it been a great season and cant understand why fans get upset that we shouldn't expect much. Any decent manager would come out and talk about the next few games and why have been under performing and that himself and the team need to fix things not looking back on some good result in Europe that means nothing now. One win in eleven games isn't even over achieving for a team bottom of the table.

Im sick of people saying look where Harry got us thats down to Levy investing and building a good squad we almost got CL twice before we did with a lot worse squad then we have now, the reason we were bottom when Harry took over was because we employed a manager who couldn't speak one word of english.

Also the way Harry picks players solely because he likes them as a person and nothing to do with their ability is meaning we are getting rid of some of our better players or else leaving them to rot on the bench e.g. Keane, Bent, Pav up until lately, Kranjcar and even Lennon since the Madrid thing.

We missed a massive chance today but hey, we're used to it by now. Spurs are always beating the big boys but always failing to give the bottom teams a good thumping.

Mickman made a point that we should "sell VdV", that he has "disrupted the team". If he wasn't for Rafa we wouldnt be be anywhere near the top four. Given that we have had to play to suit him, that shouldn't stop any striker with natural ability to score? We played two up front today but did we bang them in? The strikers we have, have lost their touch a small bit and only score in patches, but selling one of our best players would be stupid.

I wud say that they have been on the bench so much this season to ax impasse vdv it wud have affected their confidence

When vdv wad at his best he played off the front man. When he scored ten goals he assumed he was the best thing that happened to spurs so started going back to midfield and even defines to collect the ball and just make silly long passes. This left the front man all alone , and this had been going on for past few months incl today .he thinks he is top dog and dosent trust the rest of the players to get the ball up the field . When vdv does a long pass to crouch it's vdv that should be there for the knock down . I bet if we played last years system of 4 proper midfielders incl Lennon and 2 strikers we wud do much better. None of bale / pieenar modric sandro or Lennon roam the pitch like vdv does

We owe these fcukers a good seeing to. It's a long time since we stuffed somebody at the lane, so I reckon this could be the night when the goals flow (all too late  ). An early goal and we are laughing. Bale will no doubt play left full with VDV or lennon in front of him, so we can play 2 strikers. Pav and JD to start and get on the scoresheet, home win a certainty, 5-1 win ;)

    :o

He has a few bad games and people are lookin to flog him off !! We have no better right winger and there are very few in the world I would swap him for !
Hope he stays and proves all of you wrong.... His cross is far from the best... But he makes it up in speed and skill and has bags of potential.
    !

Has played more than 5 good games this season? Name them.
As for his skill, well, for me all he has is speed which he doesnt use often enough, his crossing is shocking, shooting only slightly better.

Mickman, what planet you on mate?
Pompey couldn't pay their wage bill four times in one season.
The wage bill was 90% of turnover in 2008, totaling £54.6m.
    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/mar/09/portsmouth-administrator-wage-bill

An average salary of £34,000 compared to £28,000 at Spurs and average of €60,000 at Utd, Citeh, Chelsea etc.

Good to remember Fratton Park has a 21,000 capacity.

Redknapp had a 1m bonus in his contract for winning the FA Cup and the players each received €250,000, apparently...?!

I said Pompey didn't pay top wages and they didn't . They Cudnt afford the wages that they did pay but their wages weren't top wages like Chelsea and united were paying
