replacement modem/router for eircom

I have a netopia 2247 eircom router which seems to have given up the ghost - nothing working ,wont reset, cant connect even wired fails on low or no connectivity. Eircom want me to buy one or sign new contract basically i'd prefer get a 3rd party replacement if possible for reasonable price Main use is xbox live So any…

if you were happy enough with it before it packed up, there are usually a couple of new Eircom ones on adverts.ie.
They usually go for €20 or less.
