Hi Thermo, I presume you mean "Multi-Terrain Pattern"? We get a large turn over of British camp from the stock DPM, to MTP to the more recent Desert and Digi/BDU variants. If your after something specific the best idea is to drop out to us or send us a sample of what you are after so we can have a stock check for you.

Just wanted to post a quick video of a MP5-SD6 I got from BrayAirsoft just before Christmas. Its not much but I was throughly impressed by the slide action:

Rapid Fire isn't doing it justice as I shot the video on a low enough charge. But if your ever in the shop, ask to hold this AEG. By far the heaviest and most realistic weight of a MP5 I've held (Having had the luxury of holding the real deal) Its full metal, through and through.

I'll post a full video on the accuracy later. Grouping is about 2" at well over 20m with no adjustment out of the box. Pure awesome.

Probably deserves another thread, but I dropped in yesterday and viewed this product. My professional study is in the world of semi conductors and optics (My field isn't lasers specifically however). At the moment, the EU is making changes to the laws regarding lasers. In some countries you are only allowed up to 1mw (Bearing in mind, thats still more luminous power than the sun) while in others you are allowed up to 5mW. Most lasers are in the 1mW category while some are up at 5mW.

To make this easier, most lasers are classed, and its this class system that has been changed. They three most common a person will encounter is Class 1 to 3A, which has been changed to include sub categories.

This particular product I believe is a class 3A. As such it is a Class 1 product thats output power does not exceed 5 times the AEL of Class 1.

What is extremely annoying, and its not just in airsoft, but people use single figures to say if something is illegal. Taking the example of Joules, people always use FPS to say if a gun is hot. You CANNOT do this. You must also quote the weight of the ball in question.

For example a 0.10gm ball could be shot at 465fps legally. Likewise a 1gm ball could be shot at 145fps legally. The key difference is the heavier the ball, the slower you have to shoot it (And vice versa) It is not enough to quote the fps without the ball weight.

The same applies to lasers. You need to quote the wavelength and the output power before you can determine if it is legal or not. When people talk about dangerous lasers, they are referring to green lasers with outputs in the range of 50mW+ which are extremely dangerous. Just because a laser is green, red, blue or yellow, does not mean you have a high output power. They are equally dangerous. Green looks more intense as your eye is far more sensitive to it. On the whole however, green lasers do have a higher output.

It should be noted that most RGB club laser systems have outputs of 100mw,50mW and 125mW respectively.

My personal opinion is lasers should have limited use in Airsoft other than for zeroing etc.


The above thoughts are my own and have NO connection to Bray Airsoft.

They are a great bunch of lads, I've never had a problem with them and I'm sure if there was even a hint of a problem with a stock item they would gladly remove it from sale.

Also, I am open to correction on my post above. I'm not an expert of versed in law.
