This examination is still ongoing in some schools.
Please do not discuss details of it here.

This thread like the others will be locked if people cannot follow the rules.

    this is OK
    b - I didn't like the question on xxxxxx <
    this is NOT OK.

My practical went alright. I wasn't too happy with how it turned out but my teacher seemed pleased enough. I managed to assemble it but it wasn't really what you'd call sturdy :P

Do we need to bring anything into the exam? I saw the sheet with the tools needed and it says 'dovetail template 1:6'?

They should all be there for you beforehand...were for me today anyway.

Including that template thing I was referring to?

Ya, we got a bevel guage that we had to set to whatever angle needed.

    working for me....

practical went grand, pieces are easy to identify, and easy to mark out, nothing really difficult in it.

No need anymore, got into it. My computer was living in 2005 so I updated Adobe and it worked!

An extra hour today at the practical would have been lovely, nevertheless wasn't too bad.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was easier this year. Was more straight-forward.

We've just covered stairs in class now, doubt it will come up though. I'm gonna perfect those U-Values and drawings and I should do grand in the theory exam.

Done mine 2day n Im i repeat. Way easier than last year so much more straight forward.

    No real trick to it.
Done it 2day with a broken wrist and a cast n still found it easier than last year!

Baught the mirror thankfully. Sand blasted onto the back of the mirror so lovely smooth surface on the playing area. Sand blasting however is easily damaged.
