    Hi All

    My Jeep went for a DOE test and failed. The items which need replacing are the following.

    LHS & RHS Bottom ball joints (common problem it seems). I was told they only come in a complete kit and can only be sourced from the main dealer. The total cost for the 2 kits is €750 incl VAT.
    Anyone out there got any info on getting these parts elsewhere :(

    Ssangyong Ball joints

    Hi, I own a motor factors and these ball joints are listed (first line part number FBJ5505) but Firstline aren't making them anymore...

    The complete arms are also listed but not currently available in Ireland or the UK...

    Main dealer appears to be the only option at the moment, I'm afraid..

    QH list the upper Ball Joint, so be carefull if ordering anything online that you specify the bottom, and you are right it is a common problem with all the Rextons, so if anyone is thinking of buying one, be prepared for hefty bill for parts...
