Parents in terror at spate of child abduction bids

    A spate of attempted abductions and attacks in the Swords area of Dublin has parents fearing for their children's safety.

    Lone men have been approaching teenagers and young children in the Rivervalley and Rathingle areas of the town, with several incidents being investigated by gardai.

    The latest incident happened last Monday when a female jogger in River Valley Park was pulled into bushes and attacked in broad daylight by a man in running gear.

    Gardai in Swords are also investigating four attempted abductions of children in the past week -- one incident involved a man who blocked a footpath with his car and tried to grab young girls last Thursday.

    Just thought i would post this,The mounting of the path blocking the way of the kids is shocking.
