Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Are there many parents out there that are claiming lone parent's allowance but are still living with their partner?

    There is no such thing as 'single mother's allowance' - there is Lone Parent's allowance which men can also claim.

    hi there... i have a question.. i am gonna to be single mother since september.. my house mate move out so i am gonna stay on my own at house.. i cant afford to pay full rent by myself with the baby as well.. is there any rent suppliment for single parents...?????

    If you are going to be applying for One Parent Family Payment then you can also apply for rent allowance provided you have been renting privately for 6 months prior to applying for the rent allowance.

    You apply with your local CWO.
