    Hello All,
I am looking for a 53" - 54" road bike, doesn't need to be new - just well looked after/maintained. This will mainly be used for winter spins, and some turbo to help rehab an injury. I am hoping to get a 105 groupset or higher.
(Currently have Felt F3, so used to 10 speed, SRAM fine too :) )

As a ball park, I am budgeting around 500 euro. Thereabouts.

If anyone has any offers, suggestions or pointers, I would really appreciate them. I am keeping an eye out on DD, Gumtree, etc, but nothing obvious yet.

    Thanks,
    Maurice.

    Hi,

I have a Boardman Comp that I'm looking to sell. Its a 53 cm frame and a bit too small for me.

Have a couple of upgrades from the original.

    Shimano 105 rear deraileur/Tiagra front 18 speed
    Ultegra 12-27 cassette
    Brakes are Tiagra
    Truvativ Elita GXP compact chainset
Ritchey Pro rims with sealed bearing hubs/with gaterskin tyres
    Mudguards.

Looking for 375. Let me know if interested.

    Thanks GCG,
Do you have some photos of the Boardman you could post up ?
Also, how old is the bike, and how much use did it get ?
    Any scratches, crashes, etc ?

    Thanks, MM.

Also, meant to ask, where abouts in the world are you ?

    Thanks, MM

    Based in Churchtown, Dublin 14.

Bike is about 1.5-2 years old i think. Bought it here in Oct but its a tad too small for me. Never crashed. A couple of minor scratches. Send me a pm with an email address and can post up some pics this evening.

Hi Caoimhín, I got the photos, thanks a mill.

The bike looks good to me, and I am interested.
Just a question, as I was trying to find the sizings on the net for the 2010 model. The current 2011 seems to be a different geometry, with a slightly sloping bar. The bike is a bit small for you, what height, approx inside leg are you ? (very personal questions, I know...)

Next, I need to sort out logistics to get up to see this machine. I am laid up at the moment, so completely dependent on the other half's transport services. Are you ever down Mullingar direction ?

    Thanks, MM.

    Hey,

I'm about 6' and my inside leg for jeans is usually 32". To be honest I'd never be near Mullingar.

    Cheers

    Hi Caoimhín,
Thanks for the info. I am 5'8 with leg 30 - so the size should be ok.

I hope to be in Dublin on Thur am, would that suit to meet up ?
    Thanks, MM.
