Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone any experience on bringing their imported bike to the NCT centre for VRT + registration purposes, how strict are they on checking the minimum mileage required (6,000 kms) for differentiating between new and second-hand, VAT is payable on imported bikes under 6,000 Kilometres. Thanks.

I registered a bike last year at an NCT centre, filled out all the form's then out to check chassis number's and mileage.Don't think she was too pushed about the milage, she asked me what it was and told her.She didn't actually look at the clock.
Sound's like you are under the mileage allowance and they will class it as a new bike.
My advice....'Ahem'..Maybe the odometer doesn't work when she goes to check the mileage..:D

Thanks for the heads up, bringing in a bike later in the month but I'll have to hope for good weather and long roads to bring the mileage up, it's a digital odometer so hopefully it won't 'work' that day:)
